Do you make pictures all the time, get nervous when you pick them up and get
happy when you see them? Do you think your photography fits in our vision? Deadline Pictures is constantly lookling for new photographers: Show your pics to the world!! Some submission guidelines: WHAT KIND OF PICTURES? • Computer editing is not allowed: just pure photography, no collages or digital enhancement. • We do believe that ordinary things and places can be extraordinary. • We normally don't accept any studio photography. We can take some if they are very beautiful, but don't get sad if they are refused... WHAT SIZE? 1600x1200 pixels is the minimun size we accept. There is no maximum size. The bigger your pictures are, the more money you (and we) get HOW TO SEND PICTURES TO BE EVALUATED? The best thing to do is put 20 jpgs on-line, with a maximum size of 500x500 pixels and 70% JPEG compression. Please avoid graphic elements in or around the picture and keep navigation as simple as possible. If you don't have any webspace, send us 10 jpgs of a maximum of 400x400 pixels. HOW TO SEND PICTURES TO BE INCLUDED IN THE COLLECTION? • A minimun of twenty pictures is recommended. If they are bigger than 2 MB, please send a CD by mail. A postal address and further instructions will be provided. • Model or property release must be required by the photographer. Even when the people in the picture are your friends, please ask them for written permission to use the picture. • The contract span will be at least three years for every submitted picture. If you retire a picture from the collection, it will be withdrawn six months after your request. We don't claim exclusivity of your pictures. WHAT DO WE GET FROM EACH OTHER? We get the right to sell your pictures, you get money when it happens. • Participating in Deadline Pictures is completely free. • You can count on 50% of the net gains (after tax) produced by every picture you sell, either in fixed price, which is €75 or in the exclusivity mode, meaning a price is arranged with the buyer considering picture usage. In order to reduce expenses we'll pay you your share through internetbank PayPal (www.paypal.com) every two months. Please note that you won't earn money from the very first moment. • The copyright of the photographs remains at the photographer. • We reserve us the right to use the pictures accepted in our collection for promotional material, e.g. a splash page for our website or DP-advertisements. You will not receive any money for this usage. You can send us your slides and negatives to be scanned, but this is slow and puts your material in unnecessary danger. We rather prefer digital data.
